Consuming Content Responsibly.

Welcome to Tree Neutral®

Trees are a vital aspect of our lives - and so is content. How we consume our content has a direct impact on our forests.

Trees improve air quality by reducing carbon dioxide from the air and removing harmful chemicals and pollutants. In cases of excess rain, trees absorb water and decrease the chances of flooding. Trees also reduce the cost of heating and cooling by providing shade and coverage to homes and other buildings.  Forests are being quickly depleted, which affects not only humans but many other species that rely on them for food and shelter.

As consumers develop a greater awareness of the impact that deforestation has, they are turning to environmentally-friendly options for their content consumption such as digital books, magazines and newspapers.  However, there is still a desire, and in some cases a need, for physical materials.

Becoming Tree Neutral® is one proactive step you can take to help replace the trees that are used in the production of your physical content. For each print run, we can calculate the number of trees used and offset that by planting replacement trees.  In return, you can use our logo and trademark to certify that your print run is Tree Neutral® and to promote awareness of deforestation.

By choosing to be Tree Neutral®, you are making a responsible decision that will have a positive impact on the future, your life, and your business.  Please note that Tree Neutral® is a federally registered mark and should not be used unless you are signed up to use it pursuant to a license agreement.
